Ethereum and Blockchain technology is one of the hottest topics in development right now. Companies cannot hire developers who understand blockchain technologies fast enough but there are few resources out there to get started. This 6-part workshop aims to teach developers when and how to use Ethereum to develop decentralized applications that can be used for finance apps, data management and much more.
UTD Blockchain club presents a Smart Contract Workshop at Blackstone Launchpad! We will go through how to write Ethereum smart contracts, and at the end, we'll have you deploy your first smart contract onto a live blockchain. We will be using Remix IDE for Ethereum development, so please bring your laptops with a web browser installed. FREE for UTD students & staff, $50 registration for professionals at https://ezpay.utdallas.edu/C20239
These workshops will be held at the Blackstone Launchpad at 1 pm on Saturdays for two hours. Attendees will be encouraged to buy the course for $10 and follow along with the videos every week. Our workshops will then act as problem sections to review the material covered and answer questions.
